Valley Jam Vermont: Bow Thayer & Brickdrop Join Lineup

The Bow Thayer Band and Brickdrop have just been added to the lineup of VALLEY JAM VERMONT. Both local bands prove that this area has some great musical talent. They join the already full 3 days of music, camping and jamming, along with Gang of Thieves, Holy Ghost Tent Revival and Rick Redington & The Luv. If you love music and jamming in the natural surroundings of Vermont, then VALLEY JAM VERMONT startsFRIDAY, AUGUST 21 and jams on until SUNDAY evening, AUGUST 23. The venue is located on the beautiful Tweed River Tubing site; junction of RT 100 and RT 107 in Stockbridge, Vermont.

Affordable on-site camping and RV spots are available. See and hear more than 15 musical acts on two stages, participate on an open mic stage where contestants can win prizes, plus community jamming, children’s activities, and cool vendors.

Local sponsors have been instrumental to the creation of the VALLEY JAM festival. Some of the local businesses that have supported VALLEY JAM are Vermont Soap, Swiss Farm Inn & Market, Cockadoodle Pizza and Sandy’s Books & Bakery in Rochester, VT.

This 3 day event is also receiving assistance from New Edge Productions, Halogen Media and Dubtek Productions, who have been helping with the bands, sound, security and volunteers. If you are interested in being a volunteer, there is a page on the website with information.

Valley Jam is family-friendly and has activities for kids of all ages; including workshops and special performances from Valley Jam superstars. Also, on-site will be food and crafts vendors. If you are interested in vending, information can be found on the website.

Valley Jams’ headliners include: Gang of Thieves, Sophistafunk, Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Rick Redington & the Luv, Bow Thayer Band and Spencer Lewis Folk Rock Project. All the bands will be posted on the website which is www.valleyjamvt.com. Jamming continues on the Open Mic Stage and around the bonfire.

Tickets are available online now at www.valleyjamvt.com. Prices range from a SUNDAY day pass at $12 to an RV site with 2 full weekend camping passes for $130. There is an ticket for locals who, instead of camping, have other accommodations, the weekend day pass is $35. With many choices, there is a ticket to accommodate everyone. Children 12 and under are free.
